Fumigation procedure for wooden pallet packing boxes

1. If the goods exported to Europe are packed in softwood pallets, a fumigation certificate must be provided.

A.If the factory is located in a city other than the export port, fumigation must be carried out at the local factory.

(1) Apply to the local commodity inspection bureau 7-8 days in advance for inspection.

(2) Provide packing lists, invoices, contracts, and inspection authorization letters to the commodity inspection bureau.

(3) Arrange a time with the commodity inspection bureau to conduct commodity inspection.

(4) The factory shall provide a fumigation site, and if the temperature is low, it must be carried out indoors.

(5) After the fumigation is completed, ask the commodity inspection bureau for the fumigation certificate;

(6) Payment to the Commodity Inspection Bureau.

B. If the factory is located in the city where the export port is located, the fumigation can be handled by the ship.

(1) Provide packing lists, invoices, contracts, and inspection powers of attorney to the shipping agent.

(2) The ship will apply for inspection on behalf of the ship.

(3) The fumigation certificate shall be handed to the company by the shipping agent together with other documents.

(4) Payment to the shipping agent.

2. No matter what kind of wooden pallet packaging box the goods exported to the United States and Canada, a fumigation certificate must be provided, and the fumigation can be entrusted to the ship.

3. Some requirements for fumigation of wooden pallet packing boxes

1. The wooden pallet packaging box shall not have bark.

2. Fumigated wooden pallet packaging boxes should be shipped as soon as possible, and attention should be paid to separate storage and isolation from other untreated wood products and wood.

3. The fumigation certificate is valid for 21 days.
